Nolan and Heidi are, like, the perfect couple, bro, who want to celebrate Nolan's promotion with, like, a new pet. But when they decide to buy a cricket for, um, forty bucks (?), it might reveal hidden truths that were, like, way too hidden, and way too, like, truthy. THE CRICKET is an absurdist comedy about relationships and coming out and queer identity and giant bugs and, like, a bunch of other sh*t, inspired by the music of the 80's Brit Pop duo, the Pet Shop Boys.
